ORBITAL SKULL RECONSTRUCTION

A Digital Workflow for Anatomical Reconstruction

This project explores the integration of digital modelling, medical imaging, and additive manufacturing to design a custom orbital reconstruction implant. Using CT scan data, the damaged orbital cavity was segmented and reconstructed to restore anatomical accuracy. The process involved developing a patient-specific implant optimized for both structural strength and surgical precision, highlighting the potential of industrial design methods in the biomedical field.
